NOW IN FRENCH FROM MAGIC DREAM EDITIONS!

Asi Wind is a brilliant light in our field, and his first book, Repertoire, caused a sensation when first published. We're thrilled Asi Wind has teamed up again with Vanishing Inc. to publish an incredible new book: Before We Begin, and with Magic Dream for its French translation.

It is one of the most comprehensive books to appear on a subject very few performers understand: the art of the Pre-Show.

The pre-show allows you to add miracles — inexplicable and spectacular moments — to your show. But only when it's handled correctly. Asi realized that, surprisingly, there weren't many other books (just one?) on how to properly carry out pre-show techniques.

Before We Begin fills that gap!

Through this magnificent new book, Asi Wind explores every angle of pre-show work: how to select volunteers, what to say, how to avoid problems, what to say on stage so no one realizes you spoke to someone before the show, and more... You'll learn how to improve your current material and explore the possibilities of adding completely new elements to your show.

Asi Wind is not only an expert on this subject, but has also interviewed three other magical luminaries to provide more comprehensive information: Luke Jermay, Max Maven and Penn Jillette. While Asi mainly performs mentalism on stage, the information contained in this book applies equally to magicians and mentalists.

This book is the best in its category. We firmly believe that, for years to come, Before We Begin will be regarded as an essential text for parlor and stage magic performers. This book is the key to unlocking the next level of your magical performance!
