DEAR MR. FANTASY – JOHN BANNON (20TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION)

Twenty years later, Dear Mr. Fantasy still feels like a closely guarded secret passed from magician to magician.

In this special anniversary edition, John Bannon's signature blend of clever methods, elegant construction, and real-world practicality remains as fresh—and as deceptive—as ever.

These are card tricks for thinking magicians: bold, commercial magic built on ingenious principles hidden in plain sight, all delivered with the clarity, wit, and creativity that have become Bannon's trademark.

Hailed as a modern classic upon its original release, Dear Mr. Fantasy remains essential reading for anyone who appreciates intelligent, powerful, and devastatingly effective card magic.

19 card effects • 200 pages • Hardcover • 70 black-and-white photographs • Stunning new cover artwork by comic book artist Mike Norton (DC/Marvel/Archie).

"What I find interesting about [Bannon] is that he takes nothing for granted. He has the ability to examine all the assumptions, challenge conventional wisdom, and rethink all or part of the plot, props, or procedure of a trick. Dear Mr. Fantasy is a terrific little book, packed with a wide variety of card tricks that will delight magicians everywhere."
