David Berglas is an English magician and mentalist. His secret technique for locating a particular card in a deck has been described as the Holy Grail of card magic.
D. Berglas's version meets 4 criteria no other variant has ever managed to fulfill:
- The cards are in full view before the routine begins.
- A spectator names any card. No confederate! The person can freely name the first card that comes to mind. No restriction, no force!
- Another spectator says any number between 1 and 52. No confederate here either. The choice is free. No restriction.
- A third person is asked to count the cards to the chosen number and turn it over: it's the card named by the first spectator! The magician never touches the cards.
This effect was a David Berglas exclusive. Until now it has never been sold by any magic dealer in the world. It has never been available on the internet either.
